Or should I ignore what I've been up to all this time?

Or is it how we wanted it to be?

Is that what you wanted me to hear?
You wanted to talk, so I'm standing here
Just to see if you are gonna make things clear to me
I always ask myself…

Does it matter now after all these years?
Why even bother when we both know that things will never be the way it used to.

I really like it.
Although I must say it's quite hard to fully understand / feel a poem which is not in your mothertongue (as a german I am quite lucky - there are many famous german poets)
